Having served in several key roles for EnCorps since 2013, Morgan Kim transitioned to Director of Fellow Engagement in fall 2016. Driving social media content, communities of practice for educators, professional development curation and related events, as well as special projects, she aids regional Program and Recruitment Directors in bolstering the depth and breadth of the EnCorps Fellowship experience. Morgan has been working in the education and youth development field for more than 20 years, with leadership positions at The Posse Foundation, Inc., AmeriCorps/Local Conservation Corps and The Youth Center. She served as an Executive Leadership Coach and Training Facilitator through the National Service Leadership Institute, providing leadership training and management coaching to Executive Directors and Senior Managers who administered national service programs. In addition, Morgan has served as a Diversity Facilitator/Trainer providing related training and curriculum development to non-profit youth organizations, effectively developing culturally competent Executive Leaders and Educators. She has also facilitated leadership workshops, staff retreats, strategic planning sessions and cultural competency workshops. Morgan is an advocate of college access for all students, volunteering her time counseling youth and families through the college application and admissions process. Her commitment to philanthropy is evidenced by service on the Board of Directors for a number of local community organizations. She received her Bachelor of Science from California State University Northridge.
