Director of Marketing & Partnerships

Katrina is a 20 year Communications professional with a demonstrated track record in creating and managing B2C and B2B partnership campaigns in Education, Tech/Gaming, and Entertainment. Her mentorship and Board work spans across nonprofit organizations like Games for Change, Private School Village, Technovation, A Place Called Home, Girls Who Code and Black Girls Code because of her innate passion to aid underserved communities through education. Prior to joining EnCorps, Jefferson was the Head of Communications and Partnerships for Sugar Gamers & Sugar Gamers Labs, a community of inspiring and diverse Game professionals who drive social impact through gamified activations. She also directed Social Media and Partnerships for organizations like Soul Beach Music Festival, VIA, Age of Learning (ABC Mouse), and Mirror Digital.  She is all about helping brands thrive by stepping outside their comfort zone and aligning their business trajectory with communication goals to help them grow.

Katrina is a strong advocate for equitable and inclusive opportunities. From starting her own tutoring company, volunteering to teach in NFTE (National Federation for Teaching Entrepreneurship) partnered schools to substitute teaching for the Los Angeles Unified School district for 5 years, she believes that every student needs a mentor and a cheerleader. Katrina attended Spelman College and is a graduate of both San Francisco State University and The Art Institute.

At EnCorps, Katrina currently leads all communication efforts, including digital marketing, paid and owned digital campaigns, brand management, social media, PR, and corporate partnership strategy.
