The Need
California needs 3,000 new math and science teachers annually over the next 10 years to meet demand for six million students enrolled in public schools. EnCorps targets under-resourced, low-income and minority students who are the most affected by the demand for qualified STEM teachers.
Our Commitment
EnCorps helps close annual gaps between the number of qualified, credentialed teachers available and dire teacher staffing needs by recruiting, selecting and comprehensively preparing STEM professionals to teach in underserved public schools.
Because of You
More than 900 STEM professionals have joined the EnCorps Teaching Fellowship, inspiring and impacting over 90,000 students statewide.

EnCorps, Inc. is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation organized under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. EnCorps’ Federal Employer Identification Number is 38-3771471. All contributions to EnCorps are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
