Ugly Sweater Party – Teachers wear their tackiest or fun holiday sweaters and you provide snacks and drinks. Create a contest with silly prizes and have teachers share their funniest classroom moment.
Winter Wonderland Social – Decorate your staff lounge with white, silver, and blue. Set up a hot chocolate bar with all the toppings (marshmallows, peppermint sticks, whipped cream, caramel). Keep the holiday music going and include a $11 throw blanket for each staff member. Simple and thoughtful!
Holiday Movie & Munchies – Save the date and screen a favorite holiday movie after school for teachers only!! Bring the popcorn, candy, and comfort food!
Cookie Exchange – Have everyone bring a dozen cookies to swap. Provide festive boxes for taking treats home, plus wine, cider and cocoa for socializing during the 1.5 hour event! To get extra festive, play everyone’s favorite holiday tunes on a shared playlist for staff for the event!
Game Night – Enjoy a white elephant gift exchange with a $15-20 limit for staff. Add a holiday trivia that ties back to the district or school, or even a fun party game! Keep it lighthearted and competitive.
Cocktails & Appetizers – Host a happy hour at a favorite local food spot for staff only. Make sure there’s an area for a photo booth and holiday props. Set a dress code and enjoy!
