
EnCorps is excited to announce Edward “Ted” Morris as a NEW Board Member!
Ted Morris brings over 30 years of experience as an educator and school leader serving underserved communities in Los Angeles. After 12 years in the classroom, he was selected for the prestigious Building Excellent Schools Fellowship, where he conducted in-depth studies of high-performing urban schools across the country to identify key drivers of student success.
He applied these insights to found and lead Futuro Prep Elementary School, and later served as Executive Director of both Endeavor College Prep and Collegiate Charter High School. Career highlights include leading the highest-performing elementary school in Boyle Heights, overseeing the financing and construction of a $23 million school facility, and managing three successful charter school mergers.
Ted currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of ICEF Public Schools, a network of seven schools educating over 2,500 Black and Latine students in grades TK–12.
He is a founding member of the Los Angeles Advocacy Council, which addresses charter school policy across the region. He also serves as Board Chair for Synergy Academies and sits on the boards of CharterSAFE and CharterSAFE National.
Ted holds a dual degree in Economics and Japanese from Claremont McKenna College, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSU Dominguez Hills, and a master’s degree in School Administration from UCLA’s Principal Leadership Institute.
