EnCorps wants to extend its heartfelt gratitude to its current corporate, foundation, and individual funders. Our collaborations have yielded remarkable benefits, not only for the students who are inspired by seasoned STEM professionals, but also for sponsoring companies and their employees involved in EnCorps’ skill-based volunteering opportunities.

For example, by stepping away from their desks and briefly immersing themselves in educational settings, employees experience a refreshing and fulfilling change of pace that enhances their engagement while broadening their perspectives. These enriching opportunities are equally valuable to the organizations the employees serve, as they foster a sense of purpose and community involvement that resonates deeply within the corporate culture. By volunteering with students, employees enhance their mentoring and communication skills, which can positively impact their work performance.

We invite corporations to join us in this rewarding journey, where your employee’s expertise can ignite a passion for STEM in the next generation and simultaneously enrich your workforce with renewed engagement levels and meaningful experiences.

Exploring Engagement Options

EnCorps has a proven track record of creating skill-based volunteering opportunities for companies and would love to collaborate with you to develop a program tailored to your company’s needs. We are open to developing new options focused on community engagement that would be beneficial for your company and our schools.

Current EnCorps Program Initiatives

Through the EnCorps STEM Teachers Program and the STEMx Tutors Program, employees can step out of their day-to-day roles behind the desk and step into classrooms, or offer virtual tutoring sessions, and witness firsthand the power that their professional real-world knowledge has in catalyzing passion for STEM in students! This not only delivers a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment, but also creates a dynamic, interactive learning environment for students. By sharing their professional expertise and experiences, STEM professionals help bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world applications, making learning more relevant and exciting for students.

In a recent blog post, John. T. Reagan, Principal Signal and Image Processing Engineer and Associate Fellow at Lockheed Martin, shared the impact that his skills-based STEM volunteer experience through EnCorps STEMx Tutors Program had on him; “I know that I am making a lifelong impact in this young man’s life by setting aside two hours each week for 10 weeks per semester.  For those of us who have the ability and desire to give back to our community and build our future talent pipeline, EnCorps is a worthy organization to consider.”

EnCorps Funders, We Thank You!

We again wish to thank our current funders and partners for their commitment to social philanthropy and STEM educational equity. It is thanks to your generous contributions that we have been able to make a significant impact on the lives of students and employees alike. Together, we can make a difference, inspire the next generation of STEM professionals, and create a more engaged and fulfilled workforce.
