Dear Funders,
On behalf of EnCorps, we extend our deepest gratitude for the milestones we were able to make this year because of your generous support of our STEM Education initiatives. Your commitment to help underserved Title 1 students foster a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in the next generation is beyond inspiring. We can’t do this work without you and we are so grateful to continue to make an impact! THANK YOU!!
Last year was a year we celebrated several significant achievements:
  • 99 dedicated Teacher Fellows joined our program, bringing their passion and expertise to California classrooms.
  • Over 1,213 hours of STEM tutoring was provided by our incredible STEMx tutors, helping 146 middle school students not only improve their math skills but also gain confidence in their abilities.
  • We successfully launched a pilot CTE Teacher Training program in partnership with LAUSD, equipping CTE teachers with the tools and knowledge to better prepare students for the workforce.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our valued partners:

  • CA State (Department of General Services): Thank you for your continued support as we recruit and train more inspiring STEM professionals to become teachers in California high schools.
  • The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation: Your multi-year support has been instrumental in launching our successful CTE Training program and advancing our impact measurement efforts.
  • The Rose Hills Foundation: We are thrilled to partner with you again to provide free math tutoring to middle school students in Los Angeles.
  • Sony Pictures Entertainment: Your generous support has nearly tripled the reach of our middle school math tutoring program in Los Angeles.
  • City National Bank: We deeply appreciate your continued commitment to grow our math tutoring program for Title 1 middle schools and encouraging your team to volunteer as STEMx Tutors.
  • General Motors Foundation: Thank you for your unwavering support over the past 8 years. Your continued investment in our STEMx programs and Teacher Fellows recruitment is invaluable.
  • Ralph M. Parsons Foundation: We are incredibly grateful for your 8 years of consistent advocacy and your constant belief in our mission to foster STEM educators in Los Angeles.
  • David Geffen Foundation: Thank you for helping us over the last 5 years. Your commitment has been instrumental in our success in California.

We believe that your investment in STEM education will have a lasting and transformative impact on our community and the future of our students. We hope to continue to share the stories of teachers, tutors, and thought leaders who are a part of the EnCorps family as alumni, supporters, and educators through our interview series, educational workshops, and on the ground conferences in 2025.

Here’s to future success and collaborative growth!

Sincerely,

EnCorps
