We are excited that you are interested in the EnCorps STEM Teachers Program. Invited participants, known as EnCorps Fellows, commit to exploring a rewarding career change to STEM teaching in an under-resourced school. The Fellowship can be completed in as little as one year.

If you have not already done so, please take a moment to read the Program Overview, Charting a Path and Eligibility information as well as peruse our Q&A prior to completing the application.

While our application process is thorough, you can be invited to join the program in as little as two weeks.

Here are the steps:

1. Complete the online application
2. Join an optional phone interview with a Recruitment Coordinator
3. Take part in a virtual group interview with fellow applicants
4. If selected, you will receive your offer letter 48 hrs after the group interview
5. Sign your offer letter! (Offer is contingent on candidate passing a background check)

EnCorps provided the support I needed to transition to STEM Teaching. I gained access to a network of people who, like me, were embarking on a career change. My guest teaching provided me with valuable classroom experience even before I began my certification process. And, EnCorps leaders helped me identify scholarships and jobs that were right for me and offered guidance to help me navigate my first year of teaching.
