EnCorps supports career-changing STEM professionals and STEM experts ready to explore transitioning to STEM teaching in an under-resourced community.
The EnCorps STEM Teachers Program®participants, known as EnCorps Fellows, work with a dedicated EnCorps Program Coordinator to develop an individualized plan to enter the teaching profession and gain access to guest teaching opportunities and twice monthly online professional development sessions hosted by leaders in education. The STEM Teachers Program is an unpaid fellowship.

Program Benefits
As an EnCorps Fellow you will:
- Receive 1:1 planning and support from your Program Coordinator to navigate the teacher credentialing process
- Volunteer guest teach for two hours per week for 10 consecutive weeks in one of EnCorps’ high-needs partner schools
- Receive a $200 travel stipend once your guest teaching is completed
- Gain access to online learning resources, workshops and attend EnCorps’ annual Learning Summit
- Join a community of career-changing STEM professionals who believe in educational equity
- Make a tangible difference in a student’s life by giving them an equitable, high-quality STEM education
Eligibility
To be eligible you:
- Live in the Denver Metropolitan Area
- Have one or more years of:
- Work or research experience as a STEM industry professional
- OR possess an advanced degree in a STEM field.
- Hold a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a GPA of 2.50 or higher
- Do not currently have a teaching credential / license / certification in a core subject in the state in which you are applying
- Are eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen or Permanent Resident
