Ashley aspired to be in education from a young age. Her passion for making a difference in the lives of students is what led her to pursue a career in this field. She obtained her Master’s Degree in The Art of Teaching in addition to Bachelor’s Degree in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State University. She currently holds a Multiple Subject Credential. Ashley worked as an Early Learners Instructor at Kumon Learning Center for five years. Following her time at Kumon, Ashley spent three years as a classroom teacher in San Francisco Unified School District. She believes that every student deserves to have equitable access to a quality education. Ashley’s past experience has driven her interest in recruiting STEM Professionals at EnCorps, who hold similar beliefs, to teach students in under-resourced communities. She is committed to bringing in quality educators who will be committed to their students and families.
