SoPact, a platform designed to track program success, recently launched a new video series. The exciting new video series focuses on data and communication in STEM education, workforce training, and social impact. In a recent episode, our very own Kathleen Kostrzewa and Angel Beamer, shared their role in tutoring and teaching STEM subjects, EnCorps program development around servicing under resourced schools, and how they are helping students build confidence and increase proficiency science, engineering, math, and technology.
The relationship between SoPact and EnCorps has been advantageous for both organizations. With SoPact’s AI-powered tools, EnCorps has been able to:
- Simplify data collection from various stakeholders, including students, tutors, and school administrators
- Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to create a comprehensive picture of their program’s success
- Use feedback and continuous learning to improve program effectiveness over time
The 35-minute video discussion offers an introduction to EnCorps and its mission to address the STEM teacher shortage, a showcase of how data-driven impact transforms education, tips on a feedback-driven approach within a collaborative partnership to maximize data effectiveness, and how data and impact drive fundraising success.
Kathleen also shares an inspiring story about a student she is tutoring who is now excelling in math and even planning to take calculus next year! This is the kind of real-life impact that data can help measure, making the case for continued support and expansion of programs we offer.
